It's clear to see it's Dulux Trade with new invisible technology

ICI Paints AkzoNobel has revealed the latest advance in paint technology, Veri-Tag, a revolutionary additive that uses laser based technology to help identify the authenticity of Dulux Trade paints and ensure specifications are followed.

An industry first - Dulux Trade is the only company to offer the cutting edge technology within its paint formula. Currently available in the Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt Light Base, the unique paint additive is invisible to the naked eye, but detectable following application using laser technology.

Specifiers select Dulux Trade as the leading paint brand, and for the reputation of its premium quality products. It is therefore important that specifications are adhered to. Now with Veri-Tag, it is possible to verify that a specification has been followed, and that the selected product has been applied.

The unique laser detection device will clearly identify the Veri-Tag particles, showing these as spots of green light on a black background. If green spots are revealed by the tool specifiers can be certain that the paint used is Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt.

Veri-Tag has absolutely no effect on the appearance, physical properties or price of the paint. Neither does it affect in any way the substrate to which the paint is applied. The additive can only be detected using a special detection device carried by the Dulux Trade sales force, meaning the quality of the overall finish is not compromised.

What's more, Veri-Tag is available in over 4,000 Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt colours, meaning the scope for design schemes is not restricted.
