Dulux Trade paint unveils new Fast Matt and Supermatt colour

Dulux Trade is helping painting contractors to be more colour confident, with the launch of a brand new colour card for its Fast Matt and Supermatt coatings. The updated guide, which boasts a range of refreshed shades, is specifically aimed at helping decorators and contractors choose the most appropriate colours for their new build projects.

Whilst the handy resource still guides those in the trade through many of the traditional shades commonly used in construction jobs, such as Magnolia and Almond White, it also showcases new contemporary neutrals to give decorators more flexibility when specifying, beyond the traditional neutral tones.

Additionally, a range of accent colours, inspired by current trends, has been added to the new guide. Alex Briggs, Brand Manager for Core at Dulux Trade, comments: "We are seeing an increasing number of contractors using bold shades on feature walls and to highlight interesting characteristics of properties. As such, we aimed to create a card that will put all the options, including neutral shades, bold colours and accent tones, in one place to simplify the colour scheming process and give decorators a helping hand in specifying an imaginative and modern solution for any new build job."

The launch of the new colour card coincides with the recent reformulation of Fast Matt to offer superior product performance and coverage.

As well as offering over 150 shades, Supermatt is a top quality, economical, high opacity matt emulsion for use on all interior wall and ceiling surfaces.

Fast Matt is a low sheen interior matt emulsion that delivers excellent touch-up properties and is ideal for critical lighting conditions or painting on plasterboard. The product is ready-to-use and creates less splatter during application than other matt emulsions.
