As a recognised authority when it comes to colour, Dulux Trade is continually striving to develop its support offering for professional decorators. As such, the company has just launched a brand new look for the in-store colour display unit, designed to make the colour scheming process simpler.
Conveniently displaying a vast array of the Dulux Trade shades available, the upgraded resource will help professionals to identify an inspiring selection of colours to recommend for any project.
What's more, the innovative unit groups together complementary tones into four different moods, each designed to create a different ambiance; Rich, Fresh, Warm and Calm. Colours from the Rich mood create impact and can make striking feature walls when combined with neutral shades. The Fresh mood comprises pastels and bright colours to maximise light in a room, whilst, in contrast, the Warm shades are great for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Finally, the tones grouped in the Calm mood help give any space a sophisticated feel.
In certain stores, larger units will also display advice compiled specifically for professional decorators by the experts at Dulux Trade; from selecting a starting colour, to how different shades can be combined to create classic or vibrant scheme. In addition, tradesmen will also find handy literature from Dulux Trade available on the new stand - such as colour cards and guides - ensuring it is a one stop shop for colour.
"All of the information on the new-look units has been designed to arm decorators with the knowledge and tools to impress their customers when it comes to colour selection. The idea behind the revamped unit is to help professionals select the most appropriate colour stripes to show their customers, and also provide them with handy hints and tips on advising clients about colour scheming," said Ann Noble, Marketing Manager for Colour at Dulux Trade.
