Ahead of the Pirelli International Rally, the Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship was on tour at the Jackson Building Centres Bonanza event near Lincoln.
Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship driver Luke Pinder took his Citroën Racing Trophy C2 rally car to the event to promote the association between Dulux Trade and the British Rally Championship. He was joined by championship manager Mark Taylor and media manager Simon Moss who were handing out goodies to some of Jackson's customers attending the two day event.
As well as the interest in the rally car which was prominently displayed at the entrance to the Lincoln Showground exhibition centre, staff on the Dulux Trade stand ran a competition to win Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship rally jackets.
As the afternoon drew to a close Dulux Trade National Account Manager Paul Edworthy commented, "Having Luke and the car here has certainly been a draw for Jackson's customers. It is something a bit different and there has been a lot of interest in the championship."
At least ten of the 1800 or so attendees will certainly remember the show as they went away having won a rally jacket apiece. Perhaps they were amongst the many thousand who watched Luke take second place this weekend in the Citroën one-make series that forms part of the Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship.
