Leading paint manufacturer, Dulux Trade, is making the world of colour even easier, following the launch of a new dedicated colour section on its website. Found in the new Dulux Trade Colour Palette section, the enhanced area features a range of new selection tools that simplify specification, and a revamped training area that helps visitors become more colour confident.
The new portal boasts online training videos, a glossary on the 'language of colour' and guidance on the Dulux Trade Colour Palette notation system. A further exciting enhancement is a step by step guide to developing colour schemes, which includes case studies that demonstrate the principles in practice and top tips from expert colour consultants at Dulux Trade.
Alongside improved training and advice, the updated area makes it easier for visitors to develop precise specifications. Phillipa Allden, Marketing Manager for Colour at Dulux Trade, explained: "The new version of the Dulux Trade Colour Palette is a fantastic addition to the site as it allows users to check exactly which products are available in a chosen colour. This helps eliminate the complicated colour conversions that sometimes occur between the design and specification stages."
As part of developing the new site, Dulux Trade has also improved the ordering mechanism for its colour cards and chips. Using a simplified colour wheel navigation tool, users can view a specific shade, and suggested tonal or harmonising colours guaranteed to work together, and order their selection with ease."
Concluding, Phillipa added: "The new site is designed to bring together all our colour tools into a single, easy-to-use area, and provide a space for Dulux Trade to share its authority on colour. Ultimately, it gives visitors all the information and advice they need to develop inspiring, coordinated colour schemes with confidence."
