ICI Paints AkzoNobel has enhanced its support service for decorating professionals with the launch of TradeXpress.co.uk - a one-stop-shop for appliers looking for industry news, business advice or just fun competitions to entertain them in their tea break.
Following on from the success of the TradeXpress magazine, the new website will build on the popular resource, introducing new items and tools designed to help professionals stay ahead of the game. The website will be constantly updated with industry developments, including a variety of news stories and top trade tips.
Packed full of business and career advice, the informative website will also offer online training and guidance to help appliers develop their skills further. Alongside practical information and product advice will sit a specific area full of competitions and activities created to occupy appliers during a break.
Decorators will also to be able to read and learn from real life stories from their peers in sections such as Tales of Horror and My Life In Paint. Additionally, visitors will be able to join in and share their own experiences, for the chance to have them hosted on the website.
Rebecca Collings, Decorator Marketing Manager at Dulux Trade, comments: "Working with appliers on a daily basis, we know that one of the biggest challenges that professionals can often face is managing a busy schedule. The website is therefore designed to bring together in one place, the information that decorators need - literally putting it at their fingertips."
The new iPhone application from ICI Paints AkzoNobel, designed to help professionals research and source the paint manufacturer"s products on the go, will also be available via the TradeXpress website.
The new TradeXpress website will be launched at the National Painting and Decorating Show in November. Decorators that sign up to the new website to take advantage of all these new developments will receive regular TradeXpress newsletters jam-packed with tips and offers, and a FREE TradeXpress T shirt, which are available while stocks last.
