Sikkens launches new VOC compliant interior woodstain

New from Sikkens is Cetol TSI Satin plus - a medium-build, solvent-borne interior woodstain. The first Sikkens product to be launched in the new VOC 2010 compliant range, it replaces one of the best selling Sikkens products, Cetol TS Interior. Cetol TSI Satin plus has been formulated to provide exactly the same quality benefits and performance of the original Cetol TS Interior while offering improvements in application and flow.

Designed for use on interior smooth planed hardwood and softwood, new Cetol TSI Satin plus is also suitable for application to interior window frames, handrails, skirting, wood panelling, doors and wooden furniture. Resistant to knocks, spills and abrasion, as well as water, mild household detergents and cleaning products, it has been developed to withstand light domestic wear and is available in a wide range of tinted colours to suit various choices of interior décor.

This new product comes in a range of six ready-mixed shades: natural oak, light oak, dark oak, walnut, mahogany and teak. It is available in 1 litre and 2.5 litre pack sizes to accommodate all application requirements.

Throughout 2009, Sikkens will be launching a series of products in its new VOC 2010 compliant range. With this range ICI Paints AkzoNobel is at the forefront in complying with the EU’s latest regulations regarding Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) ensuring the smooth transition from non-compliant to compliant products for its trade customers.
