"We identified wall areas with clear definition to use as accent walls or feature walls. An example of this was in the lounge area and behind the reception desk. These colours would draw the eye to key areas within the space and add a bold splash of colour. Consideration was given to the proportion of colour and keeping accents as just that - not overusing them.
The strongest colours were used on the smallest accent areas and the slightly softer colours on the larger accent areas.
When using several accent colours, as in this scheme, a true neutral rather than one that has a hint of another colour is almost always recommended for the other walls in the building."
