And the stir in a circular motion for 1 minute making sure that the stirring paddle reaches the bottom of the holding tank

Leave for one minute and then re-stir.

Notice how quickly the paint is settling to the bottom of the tank.

Full separation can occur in as little as two hours but for best results the system should be left overnight.

Full separation has occurred when the sludge is visible lower than the clean water outlet.

Clean water is then released by opening the clean water outlet allowing the treated water out of the tank via the pre filter, the water treatment filter and the non-return valve to an authorised discharge point.

Turn off the clean water outlet and release the sludge trap.

The paint residue is pumped up through the tube and into the sludge filter bag.

Keep filling the sludge filter bags until all the sludge has been filtered.

To drain the sludge filter box open the filter box drain trap.

Once the filter bags have drained leaving paint waste, discard the paint waste into a suitable container to harden.

Once harden discard the paint as normal refuse.

And there you have it the Environmental Wash System 450.
