PLGN 2.06 Heat resistance of decorative coatings

Traditional Alkyd Paints (High Gloss etc) have a Heat Resistance of up to 93ºC. Where the temperature will exceed 82°C, some discolouration will occur - more noticeably with white and pastel shades.

Traditional Water-Based coatings (Vinyl Matt etc) should not be applied to heated surfaces.
